During the restoration of the Depot building, the Art Society has had to vacate but will be set up temporarily in the Santa Paula Library following the March Art Show.

OUR PURPOSE


Founded in June 1968 by a group of artists in Santa Paula who wished to maintain their friendships in the future; to increase their understanding and to improve their work; to encourage artistic growth, interest and art appreciation in all phases of the arts; to offer scholarships and encouragement to talented students; to encourage civic interest, cultural awareness and to increase development of the arts.


GALLERY HOURS

Our Gallery is open Saturday and Sunday
12 noon to 4:00 P.M.
We are also open by appointment for tour groups.

CURRENT GALLERY DISPLAY

The gallery extends into the restored depot warehouse, a portion of which is used for one-person shows and a continually rotating exhibit of:

· Paintings in Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor, Pastels
· Digital Art
· Hand Painted Boxes, Collage
· Pen and Inks, and Lithographs
· Local and Railroad Theme Cards
· Greeting Cards and Photography
