When his girlfriend, Heather dumps him right before 2Gether has to perform, Chad ends up crying on stage. The record company's "one-man musical swat team" saves the song by making the crying sound rehearsed. Mtv loves the "adlib" and wants to have a Making The Video for the song- with Chad crying. Then, Chad's girlfriend wants him back as a ticket to meet bigger stars. When Doug comes between the two, tension occers on the set of their video. Chad wants to be alone and refuses to cry on camera when he finally dumps Heather.
