His cancer story: [taken from visualizeqt.com]He was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease, in July, 1994, when he was nine years old. Six months of chemotherapy treatments followed. He was believed to be cured but six months later, the cancer returned. Worse yet, it metastasized to his lungs. He would need massive, strong doses of chemotherapy, a bone marrow transplant and twelve radiation treatments around his heart and lungs, with no guarantee of survival. Somehow, he did survive. On August 1, 1996, he celebrated being cancer-free for a year. He now has a cancer foundation called The Michael Cuccione Foundation, which is a foundation to help raise money for cancer research. He also has a CD called "Make a Difference," which you can buy at his website. He has a book as well, called "There are Survivors: The Michael Cuccione Story," which was written by him and his grandmother. You can buy it at his website.

There will be a movie about Michael's life that will air on t.v. in mid 2002. Michael's second cd will be the soundtrack. After it is on television, the movie will be sold on video and DVD.
