It is thought that bettas that mature later will
have a longer life span.
It will take you longer to
breed to the next generation.
You will be able to breed the next generations sooner. Faster growth can possibly mean a shorter life span.

TO STIMULATE FAST GROWTH

1: Lower water temperatures,
approximately 74°F - 80°F.
1: Warmer water temperatures,
approximately 80°F - 84°F.
