The Tallahassee Independent Drivers Association is an association of taxi drivers located in the Tallahassee Florida city area.
Our mission statement.
Purpose:
To aide in the economic development, well being and enhancement of the quality of life for the taxi drivers of Tallahassee. To address job related issues for all of the taxi driver membership in Tallahassee.
Goals:
1) To create a news letter and web site offering information and entertainment relevant to the specific needs and expressed wishes of the membership.
2) To create a formal vehicle that will address issues of impact on the membership and their livelihoods. Through officers elected by the membership.
To act on their behalf as representative's and spokes persons.3) To form a public relation platform to help better educate the public as to the nature of the taxi cab industry in Tallahassee.
4) To form a fundraising vehicle to generate revenue to help promote the purpose of this association.
5) To retain legal counsel if needed to advise the association as to legal issues regarding the membership and association.
We are constantly under construction as there is always new information to be added.

As we net work with other groups we will add links to their sites.
This site is dedicated to the cab drivers from all over who risk their lives every day to provide a safe and convenient way to ground transportation.
This is our first Online Issue of our news letter.
