** LATEST CHANGES ** V3.14 - 3/18/08 9:45 PM 1. Designed a completely different algorithm for the unlock code which should allow users to only need new unlock codes if they change their hard drive. ** All users will need a new unlock code with this update. ** V3.13 - 2/10/08 8:30 AM 1. Fixed a bug with the unlock code. V3.12 - 2/3/08 12:30 PM 1. Fixed 2 bugs related to the "Guess" button. V3.11 - 1/1/08 5:20 PM 1. Fixed a bug in "LOAD DIRECTORY" V3.10 - 3/13/07 11:15 PM 1. Changed the way MIDIDIOM chooses to save files so that each rendering will save to the same directory until another song is loaded. V3.00 - 3/10/07 2:00 PM 1. Added "SAVE DIRECTORY" to file list menu so that the user can either allow MIDIDIOM to decide where to save the files or the user can designate a directory where files should be saved to. The program will remember where you want files saved. 2. Saved files are now named with part of the previous file name followed by a number instead of just a subsequent number. V2.92 - 3/9/07 8:30 PM 1. Hot keys for internal midi player CTRL+RIGHT, CTRL+LEFT, CTRL+UP, CTRL+DOWN, will now only work locally when MIDIDIOM is the active window. V2.91 - 3/4/07 7:10 PM 1. Decreased the default range of the Yo_Yo button so that the notes do not jump around quite as much. V2.90 - 3/3/07 2:30 PM 1. Added Yo_Yo Button which will randomize all notes within a selected range using notes from another selected range. V2.80 - 3/3/07 1:00 AM 1. Added JOIN button which will force a midi file to join a particular key by moving notes in the midi file to the nearest note in the selected key. V2.74 - 2/28/07 10:00 PM 1. Increased the range of the IN_OUT button from (-12 to 12) to (-48 to 48) V2.73 - 2/26/07 11:40 PM 1. The unlock code will now not be overwritten when upgrading to the newest version of MIDIDIOM. So it will not be necessary to plug in your unlock code each time you upgrade. 2. If you wanted to work on the same midi file twice in a row it would be cleared from the file list. Now it will only be cleared from the file list if you click on it twice in a row without a rendering in between the 2 clicks. 3. Fixed miscellaneous minor menu conflict problems. V2.72 - 2/25/07 5:15 PM 1. Fixed problem with internal midi player having trouble with long file names. V2.71 - 2/25/07 10:00 AM 1. Added BATCH utility to the file list drop down menu which will load an entire directory of midi files to your file list. 2. Added CLEAR utility which will clear the current file list. V2.70 - 2/24/07 11:15 PM 1. Multiple midi files can now be loaded and rendered. 2. Fixed long file name problem. Long file names can be loaded into memory but for now the output is always short file names. V2.61 - 2/19/07 11:30 PM 1. Clicking on a map number will display your map names in the status bar. 2. Fixed UNDO button problem with multiple renderings. 3. Fixed routine which performs back up of your edited files map.txt, my_scale.txt, my_words.txt and usergp??.txt. Future MIDIDIOM updates will not overwrite your changes to these files. V2.6 - 2/18/07 6:00 PM 1. It is no longer necessary to save files. Upon each rendering, files are automatically saved to a directory with the same name as the midi file and given a subsequent number. Therefore the SAVE button was removed. 2. AUTO OCTAVE CORRECT check box added to work in conjunction with the ROTATE button. Previously instruments had to be moved to their correct octave using the OCTAVE button. The program now attempts to do this for you. It can be unchecked if you do not want the instruments to be automatically moved. 3. UNDO button now deletes the most recently rendered files and reloads the previous midi file. 4. The previous HOTKEYS worked globally so they would effect other programs you might have running. To alleviate this You can use the underlined letter on each button while holding down the ALT key. This approach only works locally with MIDIDIOM and will not affect other programs you might have running.
