Recommended Syllabus for All India PMT/PDT 2000 Entrance Examination



Introduction
In compliance with the directive of the Supreme Court of India, the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi would be conducting the All-India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination. This entrance examination is being conducted exclusively for the 15% merit positions for the Medical/Dental Colleges of India as specified in the directive of the court and will be governed by the rules and regulations specified for the same by the Government of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare from time to time.



Scheme of Examination

The Examination shall have one paper consisting of:

(i) PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY (BOTANY & ZOOLOGY)

(ii) Duration 2 ½ hours
Time 10:00 AM To 12:30 PM

(iii) Marks: Each question carries 4 marks.
All questions will be objective type.
There shall be negative marking
Answers without any response shall be awarded ZERO marks.

(iv) No. of Question: The paper shall have 200 objective type questions and shall carry a maximum of 800 marks.

(v) The question paper will be supplied either in English or Hindi as per the medium indicated by the candidate in the Application Form. The candidates will be required to find out the correct answer and mark it in the answer sheet by blackening the corresponding circle against the serial number of the question with HB PENCIL ONLY.
