POW-MIA's, you gave your all fighting socialist tyrannies overseas. You are not forgotten. Nor are the brave civilian soldiers - firefighters and policemen - who rescued hundreds of their fellow citizens from the 9/11/01 attacks of tyrants. RAPTOR members appreciate your courage, and resolve to continue your efforts fighting the socialist takeover of America.

NEWS RELEASE FROM THE AYN RAND INSTITUTE:

America is at war. On September the eleventh, terrorists attacked America's military, financial, and cultural centers. In essence, these were not military acts of aggression, but the latest and worst acts in a philosophical war. Though directed against American buildings and citizens, these attacks were really aimed at America's core ideas and values: reason, self interest, individualism, and happiness. The kamikaze terrorists were--not coincidentally--motivated by the exact opposite of these American ideas: faith, self-sacrifice, collectivism, and human misery on earth.

The Ayn Rand Institute is engaged in a battle against the dangerous and irrational ideas underlying terrorism. ARI has produced a new web page http://www.aynrand.org/medialink/actofwar.html that presents interviews, press releases and op-ed articles that use Objectivist principles to explain the cause of this current tragedy--and Its cure: rational ideas. The page currently features:

* new op-ed articles by Dr. Leonard Peikoff and by Robert Tracinski

* a new radio interview with Dr. Peikoff

* Dr. Peikoff's 1998 radio show special on the terrorist threats to America.

ARI's speakers and writers will continue to speak up for freedom, and the page will be updated with new articles. We encourage you to visit often.

Use this site for intellectual ammunition. Forward the address--or this e-mail--to any interested friends, relatives, or associates, advising them that now is the time to stand tall for America. Only a resolute, principled defense of reason, freedom, and America can influence public opinion and officials to take the moral course of action--to defend our lives and freedom. If ever we needed people to speak out, it's now. To anyone reading this, this means *you.*

Yours sincerely,

Yaron Brook
