Georgian Georgian is spoken in Georgia (the former Soviet republic, not the American state) and the surrounding former Soviet countries, e. g. Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgystan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan... there are even Georgian-speaking minorities in Turkey and Iran. Georgian belongs to South Caucasian language family. It is written with an own alphabet unlike the Latin or Cyrillic one. Sprachprofi Files: doesn't yet exist.
