This photo was taken at the McNear brickyard in San Rafael.
A former owner of the brickyard collected junk from yard sales and stored them in two big trailers. His son Ian, a friend of mine, let my freinds and me poke around for treasure. Allison stands in the doorway watching as my friends dig through piles of paper, cardboard and porcelain.

Favorite Aspects: I like how the image is divided into three uneven fields of value, each of different texture. Also Allison. (She doesn't like this picture).

Enhancements / touch-ups: Dark values lightened slightly.
