Marin County Fair 2003, looking across the lagoon at the carnival rides. I needed a long shutter speed, but didn't have a tripod. I decided that camera shake was inevitable with a telephoto lens, so I exaggerated it instead of trying to control it. This is the result.

Favorite Aspects: Contrast (bright colors against black), light (on the water in particular), color, motion: the swooping streaks of light remind me of the dizzying motion of a carnival ride.
