Greetings! This page is about Relatives and Friends. Relatives may also be friends, just as friends may turn out to be relatives. That's why the 'Theory of Relativity' is so darn hard to understand.
The two are separate but are offtimes the same. I will not attempt to differentiate, but will simply stick up some photos of each
and let you decide.

I wish I knew who took this shot. A good buddy since childhood, Rick Collinson, sent it to me by email. Some of the faces I can identify are: (Port to Starboard).... Terry Gervais, Peter Druska (?), myself with my 'woodies', Larry Collinson (?), and three more (?)'s.

This wayward gang of spirited human entities get together a few times a year, up in the Tobermory Peninsula. Beer, constant card playing, unhealthy breakfasts, hard liquor, gas (methane, mostly), laughing, suprising intelligence, more beer, monumentally memorable moments, star gazing, driving golfballs into oblivion, beer and not much sleep. My brother, Mike, is one of the regulars, my brother-in-law, Bob K. is a semi-regular, and I am occasional.
These times are 'the best'.

My best buddy, over many years, this is Bo. He builds and installs the Viking boat lift which you can see him leaning on. The inset photo is of us in Copenhagen, Denmark (Bo's home) back in 1988. The stories could fill a large book.

Larry and Rick "the Russian" Collinson. Brothers from Adeline Avenue, Larry is still in Hamilton while Richard is on Vancouver Island.

My good buddy, Don, and his wife Maria. They gave up both their jobs in Toronto and moved to North Van, in BC, and have never looked back. Don and I often go sailing in the beautiful waters of the Straits of Georgia, whenever he isn't snow-boarding in the mountains 30 minutes away, or wind-surfing.

Under the friends column we have a fine German Shepherd/Labrador cross, who lives with us, protects us and entertains us. Her name is 'Mocha' ('Mocha Java' if we are mad at her) and her purpose in life seems to be to please us. She constantly guards us against any errant food being wasted, and protects us against any dreaded 'dust bunnies' by distributing her hair everywhere, thereby overwhelming them.

Relatives, ..who are friends, ...who are NUTS.
This pic was a wonderful Christmas present for me, being so far away from all of them. Why does Mom look like she was 'PhotoShopped in' later? Everyone is giving me the 'thumbs up' except for Mom, who is giving me the Inuit hand signal for: "Your kayak is sinking!"
