Youth Minitry

The Youth Ministry (age 12 - 18) of Harvest Christian Centre was officially started in June 2004. Some of these youth are recruited from our SCC (Saturday Children's Club) while others through their friends. The uniqueness of this ministry lies in its outreach to unsaved Youth coming from unsaved families. Our vision for this dynamic ministry is to raise up Youth who love God and fear Him because we believe that every person is important to God - Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."

We meet every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month at 2.30pm where we will have time of worship, games and sharing the Word of God. Guitar lessons and tuition are conducted after the youth meeting. Those who have an interest to learn to play the guitar will be given the opportunity to be trained and equipped for future ministry.

The tuition ministry is geared towards helping students to excel in their studies so that they can shine for Jesus in their families and in schools. If you have a desire to help these students improve in their studies, we strongly encourage your availability.

We also have home visitation on the 2nd and 4th week of the month. A high percentage of these youth are not Christians and come from a non Christian background, therefore we aim to establish a consistent relationship with them and their families so that the love of God can be shown.

Ultimately we want to see a church of a different mould come forth - A RADICAL CHURCH FOR A RADICAL GENERATION! A no-compromise, impacting, forward-looking Youth that breaks all the stereotypes - a Youth Ministry that exemplifies the 'life to the full' that Christianity is truly about and makes this known to the world outside.

It is our desire to be a church where young people from all walks and backgrounds can come and fellowship with one another and experience the power of the Gospel first-hand.
