God's Timing
And Good Timing
When we watched Heidi Baker's
video on one of the Wednesday nights, she asked,
"What do you want from God?" I told
God that I want to see all my family members saved
into the kingdom of God. I have been praying for
my family members to be saved for many years.
Last week, my sister called me
to ask Pastor to pray for my brother's new house.
I was wondering why my brother wanted to have
a house dedication when he's not a Christian,
only my sister-in-law is. Pastor went and instead
of praying for the house, I saw Pastor talking
to my brother for nearly two hours. I was walking
around and praying in my heart. My brother asked
many questions and so did my sister. Later I heard
Pastor asking my brother, "Do you want to
accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior?" My
brother answered, "Yes."
I am very thankful to God because
He answered my prayers. It is truly God's timing
and good timing that the day my brother dedicated
his house to God, was the very day that he accepted
Christ. Amen! To God be the glory.

Never
Too Late
I had a very hectic and stressful
week last week. On Wednesday my mother was diagnosed
of a tumor in the brain after a few days of pain.
My wife was about to deliver and I was supposed
to go for a business trip to Bangkok. I shared
to my wife that if I hear God correctly, everything
will be in perfect timing; He will take care of
my mother, my wife will deliver and then I will
go for my business trip. Last Saturday, my mother
came to the prayer meeting and God healed her
of her headache. Praise God! On the morning when
I was supposed to leave for Bangkok, my wife was
admitted and six hours later delivered a baby
girl. I then called my boss and told him that
I will be a day late. There was only one flight
to Bangkok daily and it was fully booked when
I called the airline the next day. Thank God I
was able to make it there for the business meeting
with my boss the next day. Truly God is never
too late to help his children.

Headache
Gone
I went to the Healing meeting
for the very first time with my wife last week.
I have always been very busy with my work and
for the past few years, I have not been able to
rest well even after long hours of sleep. Most
of the time I would wake up having a headache.
While I was down on the floor
last week, God healed me. One thing I realized
was that my headache just left me! I was very
fresh for the whole of last week until now. Even
though I slept for only a few hours for the past
one week, 4-5 hours per day, I still woke up fresh
and felt good. God is good and thank God for that.

Gold Dust
During the prayer retreat, I learnt
how to be more focused in my prayer and I realized
that God really dwells in the praises of His people.
I could really feel His presence during our corporate
worship at Penang Hill and I know for sure that
He hears all our prayers. Even though I've been
praying everyday in the past, most of the days
I struggled to pray for even 10 minutes! Today,
my prayer is different. I could easily pray for
20 - 30 minutes effortlessly. I felt so refreshed
by the prayer retreat I wish I could be there
longer. It's also an opportunity to marvel at
God's creations (we don't normally get to see
so many species of butterflies in one place!).
For those who have not participated in any prayer
retreat, I would encourage you to do so. It's
worth taking your leave!
Last Sunday, the service was different
for me. I've never seen so much gold dust in my
life (mostly on the stage and front rows). It
may not be unusual to some of you who had seen
this many times (we should not treat God's miracles
as something common or get over familiarized with
them) but to me it's something new. I thought
my eyes were playing tricks on me until I looked
at my hand and saw that it was for real. Praise
God because His blessings had not stopped pouring
in! As Pastor had mentioned, we should hunger
for God's presence and seek His face daily, otherwise
He will move on to bless others. With the recent
visions seen by Bee Yoong and Alex Yeoh during
the retreat, we can expect to see more healings
taking place in HCC!
While I was crying out for God's
forgiveness on stage, I felt Jesus' gentle touch
on my head, telling me that I don't have to worry
because my sins are forgiven. The moment He said
that, I felt nothing but peace in my heart. After
being prayed for by Pastor, I laid there for probably
one to one and a half hours. It's been quite some
time since I was `stuck' on the floor. I couldn't
get up because I just could not move my hands
and feet. Thank God for His `consuming fire'.
More Lord...I want more!

Backache
I was having backache before I
went up to the church prayer retreat. Normally
I would need to lie on the bed for some time to
relax my muscles and then the pain will slowly
go off. As I went up to Penang Hill for the prayer
retreat, I felt the pain again as I have not had
enough sleep and rest. During the corporate night
prayer, I felt the warmth of God surrounding me,
and the pain lessened. I knew that God was healing
and touching me. I went to bed with still a slight
pain on my back but was able to sleep. The next
morning I woke up and realized that I don't feel
the pain anymore. I was a healed person. Thank
God!
