Dorine Lunceford
Artist

Dorine Lunceford is a native Californian who lives in the Bear Valley area of Tehachapi. She has spent most of her time around horses and domestic animals and has studied wild animals in their habitat.

Dorine enjoys painting animals, flowers and carousel horses. She has toured the State of California and studied and photographed many of the carousels in the State.

Dorine's father was an accomplished realistic artist who worked in oils. His subjects were land and seascapes, mostly of California. She used to watch him paint in his studio when she was a child. And now her daughter is an accomplished artist in Bakersfield.

Dorine has shown in National and International shows. She is a past charter member of the California Gold Coast Watercolor Society, the Buena Ventura Art Association and the Ojai Art Association, and the Ventura Harbor Gallery. She is currently a member of the Santa Paula Society of Art and the Bear Valley Cultural Arts Association.
